I know that some of you are likely rolling your eyes by now, but you can’t discount the thousands of reports from very credible people like state troopers, pilots, air traffic controllers… you know… people who’ve been trained to spot frauds and fakes. Even former president Ronald Reagan openly spoke about a UFO sighting he had, when he was the governor of California. What about people from our history books?
As one example, Christopher Columbus wrote in his journal about having seen lights come out of the Atlantic Ocean, which looked to be in the shape of a Menorah, and seemingly follow along with his ships for a while. He even took a ton of heat from the Vatican for having the audacity to describe what he saw. In fairness though, he was more likely disciplined for having said that the UFO seemed to be in the shape of a Menorah, rather than having spotted a UFO.
With that said… I think that aliens are still here today, but how do the governments come out and tell this to their people? For example, the U.S. government has been covering up UFO’s for so long, that they can’t just come out and say “Well… these being have been here all along, but we now think that you’re ready to see and hear the truth, so here it is…” No, it can’t happen this way, even if there are more and more governments around the planet who’re starting to leak UFO related information to their people. Our government is way beyond that point. So… how would “they” likely go about it?
With a little research into the past, it’s easy to see how mankind is being prepared to be a part of some sort of galactic community. In the past, aliens have been referred to as Angels or Demons. They’ve also been called “gods” and creators of life. With their superior technology, they must have been at least a few thousand years ahead of us. While we were just figuring out how to make a spear, they’d already been mining our planet’s resources for centuries, if not a few millennia. But, things are different now. We’re no longer the superstitious monkeys we used to be. Well… many of us still are, but as a whole, mankind is getting beyond that superstitious nonsense and embracing science, to search for answers, rather than made up stories from the past, by a bunch of people who tried, but couldn’t explain what was going on around them.
We’ve been able to search the cosmos and learn about our surroundings at a rate never before seen by human beings. We’ve discovered a number of Earth-like planets, which orbit around their own Sun and sometimes Suns. We've finally been able to detect Black Holes, and learned that every Galaxy has a super massive one in its center. We’ve been able to study our Universe’s past by looking way back, to around the time of the Big Bang. The only thing we’ve not yet “found” is life… but I think that we live in exciting times, and we’ll have our answers with in the next 50 years. Here’s one scenario of how I see the discovery of intelligent life playing out.
NASA will be back and operating in space, with their own crafts, come 2018. They have a few more missions planned to Mars, and there’s even serious talk of a manned mission to the Red Planet. I think that during one of these missions, they’ll find proof of life and perhaps even life itself. If it’s alive, it’ll likely be in microbial form, but none the less… it’ll still be life.
It takes about 1 generation to get used to new ideas, so… if NASA finds life on Mars, that’s great. If not, they can always plant it there and say… “A-ha! We found proof of life!” Remember… these intelligent aliens we’re eventually going to find, have likely been here for thousands of years, in one way or another.
Even if at first we only discover fossils, it will undoubtedly change the way human beings will see themselves. Will it bring about world peace? Likely not, but once those morons (the ones who can’t handle proof of life some where other than Earth, because it shakes their very fragile and humanist belief system) commit suicide, humans will calm down and accept the fact that we’re NOT alone. Right now we might think or believe that we’re not alone, but that’s not the same as actually knowing it.
This “new knowledge” will be taught in all schools around the world as fact, so the next generation of children will grow up not only knowing that life does exist in other places, but most of them will likely be looking forward to the day when we mysteriously discover a planet, which is populated with intelligent life.
Then… seemingly out of no where, S.E.T.I. (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) will become incredibly useful. They will pick up a signal with their massive array of dishes. It’ll likely be something simple at first, but it’ll be consistent, and this message, after it is jumped through all of their screening hoops, will be released to the public.
“THERE IS INTELLIGENT LIFE OUT THERE!” and “IT’S OFFICIAL… WE’RE NOT ALONE!” will be the type of screaming headline we’ll see in every news paper around the world. We’ve been contacted and it’s not a hoax. This will be incredibly exciting and most of the world will cheer. Us average folk have been guided step-by-step to this discovery. We are finally ready for it!
On that day of arrival, mankind will officially change forever, but… their presence, even though seemingly friendly, could be sinister. However… that doesn’t matter. They’re here and humanity will be united, if even for a short term, in an effort to put on our best face for our space traveling brothers and sisters.
Here’s a possible timeline I see for all of this:
2045 (give or take a few years)… S.E.T.I. will pick up an intelligent signal and through subspace technology (given to us by the same aliens who initially signaled us… and… errr… live among us as we speak) we will begin a dialogue, to “learn about and better understand” each other. We will likely exchange photos or other forms of images, which will become public and taught to us in schools and through television, so that mankind isn’t shocked, when these being finally arrive.
2055 (or there about)…Alien mother-ship arrives and makes official “First Contact” with humans.
2065-2070… Earth will officially become part of some kind of a galactic community and mankind will be forever changed.
Yes… we live in exciting times indeed and those who have their head in the sand will have a hard time dealing with such a huge issue, like finding out that we’re not alone in this vast universe. Life is all around us, watching, studying, manipulating and waiting for the right moment to make its presence known. Should these events actually transpire roughly in the manner in which I laid them out, understand that I’m not some kind of a psychic, or fortuneteller, but rather a person who simply studies the past, to get a better and clearer understanding of the future.
With that... cheers! :)
