The former WTAE Pittsburgh News anchor has been a dear friend to Attila since the two first met, in September of 2006 and they support each other's adventures through life's wild and crazy journey. Attila's "favorite home-girl" is a proud mom, wife, and American, and hosts her own talk show from 9AM to Noon on The Talk of Pittsburgh, 1320 WJAS, and is heard worldwide on the iHeart RAdio app.
She's feisty, opiniated, and very much on point with her conservative views. Like Attila has been saying to her since the two met, "Wendy has a face for TV, but a brain for radio. She knows how to keep her show entertaining, informative, and how to engage the audience. SOAR'S mission is to provide people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in outdoor accessible activities and help provide them with accessible equipment.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) raises money to help people with physical disabilities pursue an active lifestyle through physical fitness and competitive athletics. The CAF bought Attila his first handcycle in 2009, which set him on a road that changed his life, forever.
